NSFC TEAM NAMES AND LEVELS OF PLAY 

Our teams are ranked by which division they play in league play. Some teams may have mulitple teams at one birth year so players are split into our teams based on their natural skill level. We want our players to maxmize their development and soccer potential so placing them in correct teams is very important for competitiveness and player development. Players are placed in teams after our annual club tryouts held in May, this is when we create teams in preparation to play Fall season of the new soccer playing year.

ELITE TEAM

Boys: Division 1 or 2 of YSSL league play or any team that plays in the NPL league, IYSA State premiership or midwest conference. 

Girls: Division A or B of IWSL league play or any team that plays in the NPL league, IYSA State premiership or midwest conference.

BLACK TEAM

Boys: Division 3 or 4 of YSSL league play

Girls: Division C of IWSL league play

VOLT TEAM

Boys: Division 5 of YSSL league play

Girls: Division D of IWSL league play

All of our teams have an opportunity to move up a league division during the soccer playing year if they win their division or place second in league play. Players may also have an opportunity to move to another NSFC team of higher level based on performance or skill development during the season.
